I had this idea in my head for weeks, of just an image of myself drawing something on a floor like surface. Sort of me showing the mental process of creating artwork sometimes.
The border with the flowers is more of a symbolism of life in bloom, I feel the framework of starting a new piece of artwork is to dream it up in the mind and then bring it to life.
The nude girl with the pen/brush is a symbol of me naked in my own mind, stripping off all other thoughts and concerns to concentrate on the art. I had my husband actually take a picture of me, so that is me drawing myself naked up there. Sorry if it creeps some of you out.
The hand of the person being drawn is in front of the pillar to sort of giving the impression that it's breaking the boundaries to come to life and to give it physical form.
This took me about a week and a half to complete mainly due to having to wait for my husband to get free time to take a picture of me modeling in several poses, lack of space in the apartment, school, work and having to wait for the thing to dry.
Sadly my scanner isn't that large and I had to take a picture of "Creation" with a digital camera. The picture turned out good, only problem is that I lost alot of color due to it. Meaning that I had to go into photshop and try to touch it up as best as I could.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
