So my art tablet started to really act up today. It's old and the cord is held together by duck tape. So now I'm hoping to be able to get another tablet in the future, but they're so expensive!
This then made me think of all the things that I also want...and most of them are nerd things.
And if you're wondering what "Spanging" is, when I actually had to beg for change for food at one dark part of my life (ya, I don't look like it now). But a fellow hungry person that I hung out with called it Spanging, which was her putting together the words "Spare Change" together and making it a verb.

LOL I've actaully did that once yrs ago when I had nothing. I made $40 in just over 2 hours. Then I got bored and was hungry so went to splurge at Taco Bell [otherwise, at the time, I was eating popcorn and Ramen spaghetti w/ hot dog meatballs, out of a microwave. I got good at doing Ramen in the microwave [regular kind, not the foam cup stuff]. And I'd buy spaghetti sauce when one sale and hot dogs. I'd do the Ramen [minus seasoning] in microwave, drain if I needed to [got so good that I knew exact amount needed to microwave w/o draining], poor in some cold sauce [noodles where so hot that they'd heat the sauce] and chop a dog up for meatballs when I felt like it. It's not too bad. I still fix the stuff once in a while [but on stove since I have one now] when I crave it. But yeah, Taco Bell at that time was heaven and still not too expensive. The rest the money I used for some geeking stuff and the clearance rack at Hot Topic. LOL Should've saved it, but was so happy to have that much money and I wanted a few things I had had my eye on for a couple wks.
If it fits the budget, and you are accepting them, I might try to see about commissioning you here in a couple wks or so. Xmas is almost here which means xmas bonus for the hubby, so maybe his boss will be nice and give a good one.
Otherwise, if you ever need jewelry for a certain cosplay, I can make something and we can do an art trade of some sorts.
If it fits the budget, and you are accepting them, I might try to see about commissioning you here in a couple wks or so. Xmas is almost here which means xmas bonus for the hubby, so maybe his boss will be nice and give a good one.
Otherwise, if you ever need jewelry for a certain cosplay, I can make something and we can do an art trade of some sorts.
