Late April Update

April has been a busy, but creative month. Besides drawing Zombie Ranch I haven't been doing much completed artwork due to some big commission jobs I got. Though once in a while I sneak away and draw something for myself.

I'm not the type to really do resolutions, but this year I gave myself some goals that I hope to accomplish. They were:

• Work on Saturnine and have an issue done this year
• Create more Bits of Nothing
• Make some products with my art or Zombie Ranch characters to sell at the booth
• Accept more commissions
• Lose Weight

Now I'm the type of person who is an idea person and these ideas distract me, causing me to stop working on said goals. Like just this week I was listening to Holy Diver by Dio and thought "This would make a really weird comic". Luckily this concept fits in the area of "Create more Bits of Nothing" and I've started working on it.

Though, out of all my goals, losing weight is possibly one of the hardest ones. My day job is working in an office (web designer) and it's really hard to be mobile while trying to draw. So in order to lose weight, I have to cut back on how much I draw. Oye.

I might not reach all my goals, but I'm the type that feels accomplishment for even trying.
